Ted Roth started Real Property Consulting to help property owners achieve the highest and best use from their real property. He is a seasoned real estate professional who specializes in the construction management and building operations for new developments. His career started in 1996 in Southwest Florida managing a stucco, drywall and EIFS company. He grew the business threefold in just 2 years and was responsible for overseeing 185 employees and all project management. Ted then focused his attention on the brokerage side of real estate engaging in sales for prospective buyers, sellers, and investors. While at Spina Realty, Ted interfaced with developers and builders on apartment layout and design, drafting of contracts, reviewing of consultant drawings as well as the construction of the buildings. He was successful in selling more than 100 pre-construction units in Bonita Springs and Fort Myers, Florida.
When Ted returned to New York City in 2006, he went to work for the prominent Alexico Group as an Owner’s Representative. Ted worked as a direct link to the construction managers, architects, engineers, and consultants for several of Alexico’s NYC development projects such as The Mark Hotel and its Jean-George restaurant, 165 Charles St, 56 Leonard St, The Alex Hotel and The Laurel Condominium. His responsibilities included the coordination, planning and execution with the NYC Department of Buildings, Department of Transportation, Department of Environmental Protection and Con Edison as well as securing two Final Certificates of Occupancy.
After Alexico Group, Ted joined Sutton Management as their Owner’s Representative/Director of Construction and successfully developed two ground up projects: 2272 Frederick Douglas Blvd and 607 West 161st St in Manhattan. He was also responsible for the development of a five-story apartment building over an existing one-story commercial building at 165 Vanderbilt Ave in Brooklyn.
Ted is a licensed real estate salesperson in Florida, New York and New Jersey. He has received certification in property management from the New York Real Estate Institute and is OSHA certified. He is a graduate of the University of Hartford with a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications.
